Sumit Rai is the CEO & Co-Founder of ZGEN Global Pvt. Ltd., a full-stack, tech-enabled platform operating at the intersection of global education and digital infrastructure. At ZGEN, he is building the connective network that links students, universities, and faculty across borders—not just enabling mobility, but creating the “pipes” for a global academic economy.
With 18+ years in international higher-education recruitment, market development, and student counselling, Sumit brings deep on-ground insight into India’s accelerating demand for international learning and the institutional needs of global universities. His work focuses on scaling ZGEN’s three-engine model: B2B SaaS for universities, B2C services for students, and government/CSR-funded programs supporting faculty development and research collaboration. Sumit is committed to making cross-border education more transparent, outcome-driven, and digitally scalable—positioning ZGEN to become a category-defining network in global education.
Abhishek Gupta
Abhishek Gupta is a relentless operator-turned-creator who has spent nearly two decades leading large-scale Securities Services and Custody Banking operations across valuations, reconciliations, cash & FX, and integrated middle/back office functions. He has led complex, multi-geo teams and transformations across India, Manila
(Philippines), and Chicago (USA)—including setting up new operating centers, scaling global service delivery, and driving automation-led efficiency at enterprise scale.
A core thread throughout Abhishek’s career is grooming talent—he’s never found himself “too busy” to mentor, coach, and build leaders. The second is creating from scratch: he left a senior executive role to co-found YOUniTE Learning, creating scalable tech (LMS/CRM) and industry-aligned programs that bridge the campus-to-corporate gap.
Today, he’s channeling that same creator mindset into ZGEN (Zero Barriers, University Global Education Network)—a platform designed to serve students, faculty, and institutions for generations, making global higher education truly borderless.

His deep connections within the investment ecosystem, built through leading large communities like ASMA, DigitalHR, and the Family Business Forum, allow him to act as a catalyst for business growth.
